Furniture refinishing is a labor-intensive job that requires an artistic eye for professional results, especially when it comes to mixing and blending custom finishes.
John uses a combination of techniques to refinish furniture from stripping a stain entirely and refinishing to revarnishing with a poly. He can refinish a piece entirely, as well as make small repairs by blending the old finish with the new.

TREADLE SEWING MACHINE 6 DRAWER CURIO BOX--INSPIRED BY DESIGNER DRESSER -BLING We have taken six old sewing machine drawers from an antique treadle sewing machine and built a solid wood cabinet to house the drawers- The drawers are in great shape- authentic to the antique sewing machine except we put on crystal knobs to dress it up. A larger grouping of six drawers. Last month I bought a little bluish dresser from a local designer shop which was painted & antiqued. I loved it and so I copied it as best I could for this box. The antique wax gave the box a rich “olden” patina and the antiqued highlights combined to give me that a modern designer antiqued look I loved in the little dresser. I recently gilded the lily- the box actually- to match the gold gilding on the little dresser- so if you want some bling...here she is. I have shown this box as a jewelry box but really you could use it for anything…crafts, paints, tea bags, coffee k-cups. I have a friend that uses hers in her dining room to hold her silverware. The top two drawers a smaller than the other four- only 1 1/2 deep vs the standard 3 1/2 inch depth of the others The box measures 16 tall x 15 deep x 12 wide- inches. It weighs 27# As with our other items- please contact us for shipping and packaging cost.

Walnut Lamp Table Vintage Treadle sewing machine repurposed into a great table- side table, bedside, living room, anywhere. In Great Britain and Ireland, you would find old cast iron base and solid oak top tables in local pubs with vintage Victorian origins. You can still find them there today. But you will find few treadle sewing machine tables. However, the decor concept of cast iron and dark oat remains a treasured look. We have taken a vintage Singer sewing machine base and restored it to the original black and gold painted look of the early 1900s. John then made a solid oak table top and drawer to insert into the base. He mixed his own dark wood stain and then finished the table with multiple applications of polyurethane for a gorgeous finish. The walnut finish is very rich and smooth to the touch- This table would look great in a family room or living room or even an entry area with a lamp.....it will work in multiple decors- country, classical, or industrial because of the elements of wood and iron and because of the uniqueness of the table The table measures 30 x 16 x 30 in +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ SHIPPING- CONTACT US IF INTERESTED ITEM REQUIRES SPECIAL SHIPPING WE CAN DELIVER LOCAL WITHIN HR DRIVE AKRON CANTON AIRPORT- OHIO
